Tracing back to high school, PJ
has been a determined student
consistently developing his
leadership. Involvements and
achievements from PJ were
grassroots for his experience to
grow. PJ’s rigorous
determination and hard work reflect
a perfect match for UNI as an
institution of undergraduate study.
Pernell J. Cezar Jr. is a candidate
looking to bring polished
experience, well-versed campus
knowledge and leadership, and a
firm commitment to serving the
student body to NISG as the 2008-
2009 Student Body President. His
dedication to advancing
UNI is exemplified by serving the
University in many facets. He works
with students, leaders, faculty,
staff, and administrators while
promoting the best interest of UNI
daily. PJ’s current initiatives
address UNI not as a complacent

advancing to the next level.
Clarence earned his high school
diploma with Honors at Emerson
School for the Visual and Performing
Arts. A natural leader, Clarence was
named captain of his varsity football
team as a sophomore. He also
played a huge role in student
government serving as the student
representative to the school board
during his senior year. Those same
leadership skills which he
demonstrated at Emerson have
been evident in his tenure at UNI.
As a student at UNI, Clarence has
participated in a broad variety of
activities and student organizations.
His countless hours of involvement
illustrate his dedication to
excellence at UNI. From helping to
recruit and retain new students to
keeping in touch with alumni,
Clarence always lends a helping
hand when needed. As Student
Body VP, Clarence will continue to
fight for what is best for all students
while maintaining great relationships
with faculty and staff.
